Isa Raglan Tee is a soft, elegant tee where classic construction meets a graphic and feminine look. It is worked in a soft and airy combination of linen and silk mohair. Raglan increases form the signature element of the tee. Comprised of twisted (knit) stitches, they continue from the yoke down the body and into a beautiful V on both front and back. The same lines are repeated on the sleeves for a harmonious effect.
CONSTRUCTION
Isa is worked seamlessly top-down. Raglan increases are worked simultaneously with German Short Rows. After the increases, body and sleeves are separated. You then work the body and gradually expand the twisted rib segments to shape the V on both front and back, likewise on the sleeves. The segments eventually form the ribbing on both body and sleeves and are finished with an Italian bind-off.
LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY
Intermediate. To make it less difficult, you may wish to omit the short rows and Italian bind-off.

Size guide
The Navy Isa tee is shown in a size 2 with 10 cm / 4" of positive ease. Measure yourself before choosing your size. If you measure e.g. 95 cm / 37.4" around your bust, you may wish to choose a size 3, which gives you 11 cm / 4.3" of positive ease. I recommend sizing up for a minimum of 10 cm / 4" and a maximum of 20 cm/ 7.8" of positive ease.
YARN AND GAUGE
2 strands are held together throughout, 1 strand of Trio2 (shown in col. Navy) and 1 strand of Mulberry Silk (shown in col. Ink), both from Isager Garn.
Estimated yarn amounts:
5 (5) 6 (6) 7 (7) 8 balls of Trio2 (50 % linen, 30% cotton & 20% lyocell, 175 m / 50 g)
Held with …
4 (4) 5 (5) 6 (6) 7 balls of Mulberry silke (100 % mulberry silk, 210 m / 25 g)
Yarn alternative:
1 strand of Palet from Isager Garn.
5 (5-6) 6 (6) 7 (7) 8-9 balls of Palet (100% cotton, 160 m / 50 g)
Please note: yarn estimates are always that - estimates. They are based on what the test knitters used as well as the measurements in the pattern. Should you wish to knit a longer body or longer sleeves, this will affect the amount of yarn you need.
It is important that you meet gauge for the desired fit, which is why it is always a good idea to swatch and to wash and block your swatch because the gauge may change after blocking.
Gauge:
20 sts x 29 rows = 10 x 10 cm / 4" on a 4 mm / US 6 needle in stockinette stitch, after wash.
21-22 sts x 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm / 4" on a 4 mm / US 6 needle on a 4 mm needle in twisted rib (only twisted k’s) after wash.
Suggested needles:
4 mm / US 6 circular needle (40, 60 – 80 cm / 16, 24-32")
