In Greek mythology, Boreas is known as the god of the north wind. The sweater is inspired by the silhouettes of the 90s, which often drew inspiration from workwear and more masculine constructions. This can be seen, for example, in the neckline, which is inspired by polo collars but without the full collar, preserving a more feminine expression. Boreas has a relaxed and boxy fit, while the construction of the neckline allows you to play with the styling depending on how open you want to wear it.
CONSTRUCTION
First, the back is worked flat while the cables and Box st are established. Stitches are then picked up for the left shoulder/front piece, which is worked separately. The same process is repeated for the right shoulder/front piece before the pieces are joined to form the body. The body is then worked in the round to the desired length. Finally, stitches are picked up for the sleeves, which are worked in Box st.
