Isa Raglan Top is the little sister to Isa Raglan, with a characteristic twisted rib from the raglan continuing down the body and meeting in a feminine shaping V. When I made the original Isa, I wanted to create a top with the construction of a classic raglan sweater. This turned into the Isa Raglan Top. The original top is worked in a soft and light summer yarn quality, but the strand can also be switched out for a strand of cashmere, to give the perfect frugal chic classic look in your wardrobe.
CONSTRUCTION
The top is worked from top to bottom, and in the same way as the raglan sweater, the piece begins by starting the neck in the round. Then the piece is divided into front and back, where increases are made for the raglan. Then the piece is joined in the round again and from here the ribbing expands to create the V-shape on both the back and front. The top is then finished with Italian bind off.

The Isa Raglan Top is designed as a close-fitting top that follows the shape of the body. Choose your size based on your bust circumference above. If you are between two sizes, it is recommended to choose the smaller size.
The top is shown in size 2 on me, giving me 0 cm (0 in) of ease.
The sizes are designed for approximately +5 to −8 cm (+2 to −3.1 in) of ease. The amount of ease for each size will depend on your bust circumference and how close-fitting you would like the top to be.
YARN AND GAUGE
Two strands are held together throughout the entire piece: 1 strand Merilin col. E0 held together with 1 strand Trio 1 col. Linen, both from Isager.

Gauge: 21 stitches x 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 “ on 4 mm / US 6 needles in stockinette.
22-23 stitches x 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 “ on 4 mm / US 6 needles in ribbing: knit 1 through the back loop, purl 1.
