Sung pullover is a classic men’s sweater with elegant details that are worked top-down on the right side, but can also be turned inside out and worn that way.  It is worked with a neat raglan detail that follows the rib at the neckline and down along the body. The sweater is worked in a combination of tweed and alpaca making it soft and light, with a gentle colour play.

Finished sweater chest circumference ca.: 110 (120) 130 (140) 150 cm 

It is recommended to have a maximum positive ease of 10-15 cm, so measure across the widest part of the chest before selecting size.

YARN AND GAUGE

Version in Isager yarn:

250 (300) 350 (400) 450 g Tweed from Isager yarn (70% wool and 30% mohair, 400m/100g)

200 (200) 250 (300) 350 g Alpaca2 from Isager yarn (50% alpaca and 50% wool, 500m/100g)

• Worked with both strands held together

Alpaca2 can be replaced by two strands of Alpaca1, 250 (300) 350 (400) 450 g. (100% fine alpaca yarn 800/m/100g)

Gauge: stockinette stitch 16 sts x 24 rows on 5 mm = 10 x 10 cm, after washing.

Suggested needles:

Circular needle 3,5 mm (40cm – 60cm)

Circular needle 5 mm (40cm, 60cm and 80cm)
